EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
Function :
EGR valve restrains Nox that is generated from the high temperature by providing some of the exhaust gas to a combustion chamber and LP EGR system should be applied to satisfy the exhaust gas restriction for EURO-6 (from 2014).
Operation Principle of LP(Low Pressure) EGR system
- EGR system that the low temperature EGR gas of the rear end of DPF is mixed with the air at the front side of a compressor by re-circulating the exhaust gas that passed DPF.
